i'm new to investing and would like to enquire, if you don't mind, where did you obtain the list of stocks from? do i need to subscribe to a website? if yes, how much is the subscription fees?

Actually i got this list from my broker, which is from shareinvestor.com And yup, you have to pay a fee to use their services. The actual price varies from how long is your subscription.
But the rest of the list that i got, most of them from generated from using POEMS.
The list could be a little bigger.
